WNBA TRMNL App Launch

Today I’m pleased to announce the launch of the WNBA TRMNL app. This application will show the regular season and future playoff matches for the upcoming WNBA season. You can choose to see just your favorite team or all the games from around the league.

Why did I make this?

I’ll fully admit, I haven’t always been a WNBA fan. Even the NBA had fallen off for me over the past several years with my focus on the NHL. But being from Iowa, I became a fever fan back in 2024 when CC announced she was going pro. When you see true generational talent like that, its hard not to become a fan. She was fun to watch at Iowa and I couldn’t wait to see what the next level was going to offer. Great basketball and fierce competition.

But what the heck is a TRMNL?

If you haven’t seen one of these TRMNL devices, they are pretty cool for the people that like to tinker with tech gadgets. Its a low power, e-ink display that you can customize with hundreds of recipes. Everything from news, sports scores, stocks, workout data. There is a good chance if you use a popular app that provides data, someone has probably written a recipe for it to integrate with the device.
